This is a vintage Rudraksha guru bead from the Himalayan region, traditionally used in Tibetan and Nepalese Buddhist malas. The guru bead, also known as the “3-hole bead”, serves as the central knot and completion bead of a mala, symbolizing the teacher-student connection and the cycle of prayers.
Hand-carved from a natural Rudraksha seed, this piece features a three-part design with side holes and a top hole for mala threading. It is mounted with traditional silver inlay caps, and still retains its original aged cotton tassel, showing its authentic ritual use.
