This old Tibetan-style bronze plaque depicts White Tara, the revered Buddhist goddess of compassion, healing, longevity, and protection. The deity is shown seated within an arched shrine, surrounded by flowing lotus motifs, with traces of traditional red pigment remaining in the recessed background, adding to its authentic aged appearance.
The reverse bears an engraved Six-Character Mantra (Om Mani Padme Hum), one of the most sacred mantras in Tibetan Buddhism, associated with Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig / Kwan Yin) and blessings of compassion.
Originally created as a small temple shrine icon, altar plaque, or devotional talisman, this piece displays natural age-related wear and a rich bronze patina developed over years of use.
