A beautiful natural banded agate Guru Bead featuring a classic three-hole construction traditionally used as the central finishing bead in Tibetan Buddhist malas and prayer necklaces.
This piece displays striking natural banding in deep black, smoky gray, warm brown, and bright white. The layered stripes wrap around the bead in a flowing pattern, creating strong visual contrast and giving the stone a very distinctive appearance from every angle.
The upper portion has a soft translucent gray-brown tone, while the center is crossed by bold white and dark bands. Additional brown and gray layers appear toward the lower section, producing a naturally balanced and elegant striped pattern.
The surface is smoothly polished, allowing the translucency and fine layered structure of the agate to show clearly under light. One side of the bead has the transverse drilling used for the two strands of a mala, while the internal channel connects downward to form the traditional three-way Guru Bead construction.
A matching rounded agate component is also shown, allowing the piece to be used as part of a complete Guru Bead set depending on your preferred mala design.
