This is a small hand‑carved Ganesha guru bead made from natural yak bone, designed as the main “teacher bead” at the end of a 108‑bead mala. The bead shows the elephant‑headed Hindu deity Ganesha standing in miniature form, with expressive eyes, a long curved trunk and tiny arms holding offerings. At about 26 mm tall (see caliper photos), it is drilled vertically from top to bottom so it can be easily strung as the central guru bead above a tassel or charm. The yak bone has a warm yellow‑brown tone with natural specks and an aged patina, giving each side of the carving its own unique character.
