This is a large hand‑carved kapala bone guru bead from Nepal/Tibet, used as the main focal at the end of a 108‑bead Buddhist mala. The rounded “skull cup” style bead is richly textured and decorated with tiny inlaid stones in a cross pattern, including a central turquoise‑colored cabochon and small metal dots. The neck section is carved with stepped rings and set with red coral‑colored accents, finished with a rustic natural fiber loop that can be kept for display or changed when you restring the bead into your own mala. Measuring roughly 24x43 mm across the main bead (see caliper photos), this piece is substantial in the hand and works beautifully as a statement guru bead, altar talisman or collector’s piece for Tibetan Buddhist ritual items.
