Hand‑carved from natural deer antler, this dramatic cemetery‑style skull bead shows an intense Citipati / charnel‑ground skull on the front and a bony hand gripping the back of the head, symbolizing impermanence, protection, and cutting through fear. The antler has a rich aged patina with darker shading in the eye sockets and around the jaw, bringing out the fine carving of teeth, cheekbones, and vertebra‑like neck base.
Drilled vertically from top to bottom (see caliper photos), ideal as a focal pendant, bracelet center bead, or statement piece on leather cord or mala designs. Each antler piece is unique in grain and color, so small variations, natural pores, and marks are part of its character and vintage look.
Key Features
• Natural deer antler skull in full 3D, with deep‑set eye sockets, detailed teeth, and textured cervical‑spine base.
• Back shows a skeletal hand gripping the skull, adding a powerful protective and memento‑mori symbolism.
• Vertical top‑to‑bottom drilling; perfect for talisman necklaces, gothic‑Buddhist jewelry, or charnel‑ground themed malas.
